Message from the President

To All Greetings of Peace and Fellowship:

With a sharp eye on our core mission that was set by Ms. Evelyn Beam more than forty years ago. To paraphrase:

We will aid in support for the DC and DC metropolitan area students with any resources needed to help the students attain a high academic education and wholesome HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) experience.

The DCHPC (DC Hampton Parent Club) club has set goals of:

* Adding more members to our participation roll

* Seeking and securing fundraisers

* Increase funding to the treasury for scholarships

* To increase scholarship amounts.

This mission and goals can be attain with our current involvement with the DCHAA(DC Hampton Alumni Association) and our monthly meeting to keep Hampton parents and students informed of Hampton University and DCHPC activities. We need everyone’s support and prayers to make these ideas work.
