HISTORY

The District of Columbia Hampton Parents' Club Inc., formally the Parents' Club of the Washington D.C. Hampton Alumni Association was officially established in October of 1969. The Club's formation was the result of the dedication, fortitude, and tireless efforts of Mrs. Evelyn Beam, a former parent, now deceased. Mrs. Beam envisioned an organized group of parents who would work together to promote the general welfare of D.C., Metropolitan Area students attending Hampton University.
